The Milltown Police Department was alerted by a resident today, that they received a telephone call from a person claiming to be a police officer from the Milltown Police Department. The resident reported that the caller was seeking monetary donations for the “Police Departments Fund Drive”. The resident reported that the caller requested a credit card number in order to make the donation.
We would like to remind all residents that the Milltown Police Department does not solicit anyone over the phone, or by any other means. Milltown PBA Local 338, does complete an annual fund drive, however it is through the mail only.
