The Department of Administration manages the day-to- day operations of the Borough of Milltown. The Borough Administrator is the highest-ranking non-elected official in the Borough in accordance with the Milltown Borough Code. 

Department Responsibilities

  • Working with the Mayor and Council and Chief Financial Officer to formulate the Municipal and Capital Budgets.
  • Overseeing Borough Capital Projects
  • Collaborates with the State of New Jersey, Middlesex County, and Board of Education on projects, contracts, grants, etc. 
  • Responsible for managing the activities of all municipal departments on a daily basis.
