Milltown Police Department Special Needs Registry

Milltown Police Department Special Needs Registry The Milltown Police Department is making it easier to help our citizens who may be lost or have difficulty communicating with police officers and first responders.

Our special needs registry is designed for residents who may be challenged with developmental disabilities such as Autism, Dementia, Down Syndrome, mental illness or other special needs. We have created this program to assist your loved ones who may be at a higher risk for getting lost, wandering, and have difficulty communicating with others.

Interested family members would be asked to complete the on-line registration form regarding their loved one, that provides useful information to responding police officers and first responders. Along with the completed registration form, we would ask for a current digital photograph of the family member. This information would be stored in our database and be accessible to our officers during times of emergency.

This program is voluntary, and all the information is kept confidential within the Milltown Police Department.

Completed registration forms along with a current digital photograph should be emailed to Lt. Christopher Johnson at The registration forms can be downloaded from the Police Department section of the Milltown Borough Website under the “forms” tab.
