Biography
Councilman Ligotti has lived in Milltown for 18 years with his wife Joy and two daughters Marissa and Elizabeth. Nick and Joy chose Milltown to raise their children because of the great Milltown reputation of honesty and family values that come along with “The Greatest Little Town in the Land”. Nick has dedicated countless volunteer hours during his children’s time at Parkview, Joyce Kilmore, Spotswood schools to ensure successful trips, fundraisers and school events.
Councilman Ligotti is 52 years old and employed by Catalina US Insurance Services for the last 14 years as the Director Global Desktop Support and works out of the NYC office. He is a graduate of DeVry University, North Brunswick.
Councilman Ligotti has served as the chairman of Parks and Recreation, Environmental, Health and Social Services, and currently Public Safety. He has also served on the Finance committee, Nick has served on multiple Milltown committees and boards over the last several years that include the Zoning Board of Adjustment, the Recreation Advisory Committee, Mayor’s Designate to Middlesex County Housing & Community Development Committee, July 4th volunteer, Milltown Shade Tree Committee and Milltown Recreation softball & basketball coach. Nick is an active member of the Milltown Democratic Organization having served as its Secretary and Chairman.
Chair to the Public Safety Committee
This committee oversees the Milltown Police Department, Milltown Fire Department, and Municipal Court.
