Recreation
The Milltown Recreation Department is made up of 2 Divisions: Recreation and the Borough Pool. Our goal is to reach and grow with the community through Recreation by providing a safe and fun environment of recreational programs, events, and services of the highest quality.
We hope that our web page helps you find information about our many different programs, events, and community. Stop by the Recreation Department during our hours of operation to see us. We are always looking for ideas and suggestions.
Information & Policies
Recreation Programs, events, and trips are open to all Residents and Non-Residents of Milltown with the exception of Albert Avenue Summer Recreation Program, which is only open to Milltown Residents. If you or your child would like to participate in a Recreation Program you must register. No registrations will be processed or accepted without full payment and a signed registration form.
Registration
Registration for all Recreation Programs can now be done by using Community Pass. All registration is on a first come first serve basis. Registration method is indicated in the program description. Once a program/class has reached its maximum enrollment, that program/class will be closed, no further registration will be permitted.
Payments
Payment is now accepted by Credit Card or Check.
Refunds
Refunds will only be made if a program is canceled due to insufficient enrollment or if a program/class is canceled by the Recreation Department. Please check your schedules carefully before committing.
Insufficient Enrollment
If group minimums are not met, programs may be shortened, condensed, or cancelled. Those enrolled in the program will be notified of any changes prior to the start of the program. Milltown Recreation has the right to cancel, change, or alter the program/class.
Participation
Recreation programs advertised are intended for willing participants. Milltown Recreation, Coaches, Supervisors, Managers, et al. holds the right to request any participant that is not in full compliance with the Milltown Recreation Rules of Conduct to leave the program/class.
General Program / Event / Class Policy
Events, programs and classes are held at various places throughout the Borough such as, the Milltown Senior Center, Parkview School, and Joyce Kilmer School. Please note carefully the dates and times of the programs. We will notify you if your class is canceled or changed, so it is very important that we have a daytime phone number and email. Please make sure your schedule permits you/your child to participate in the Recreation program or class before registering. We cannot issue refunds unless the Recreation Department cancels or changes the advertised schedule of a program/class. Please arrive on time for programs and classes and pick up promptly.
